The British Fantasy Society have announced their latest short story competition.  Since 2006 is the 35th anniversary of the Society itself, and the 30th anniversary of their Fantasycon event, the BFS are looking for Fantasy/Horror/Science Fiction stories with an anniversary theme.
The Fantasy Times reviews Ilona Hegedus' new collection, Unearthly Companion.
Knife of Dreams internet hunt has been modified.  Prizes no longer tied to the hunt.  Instead, a sweepstakes with entry deadlines from October 11 through November 29.  The Hunt will continue but only for enjoyment sakes.
